Only water lines or gas lines uses copper pipes. For sewer they used and still uses cast iron and you can also use concrete lines for bigger pipes in cities. I've also dug up leftover clay pipes in the garden that was used 100 years ago.

Yes, being originally from Europe, the metric system makes so much more sense to me too.
Your bathroom plumbing system is very impressive!
Lol YES I do believe in all that “woo woo” manifestation shit and I love that you shared about this 😂
Of course there is science to somewhat back it up because our subconscious minds are so damn powerful.
This morning my body was riddled with anxiety so I had to speak mantra to myself:
“Even though I feel uncomfortable with this feeling, I choose to accept this experience” which lead into “I am here for my body, I trust my body, and I trust myself” all while utilizing EFT (tapping on my meridians - AKA acupressure).
I was surprised by how my body relaxed after just 5-10 minutes.
Whether it was meditative, reprogramming my subconscious mind, or the universe sending me good vibes, I’m just happy to have found some relief.
Metric wins!
Always
Hi guys what are you doing a great I am a master plumber doing plumbing for over 50 before we had PVC pipe call my drain lines for domain in galvanized wind start using copper until about the all your water lines gas line running galvanized if you want to have some fun when I did ruffians like you're doing with cast iron we ain't hubs on each other pipe we would stick in there I'll come up and then pouring fuel lid to see idrys my back has seven herniated disc in it PVC pipe has made life easy and salsa turn a lot of people in the plumbers and not really what you doing a pretty good job I should few mistakes but you know that's what type of pointer work
No way on the metrics pal
Black clay pipe OR black cast iron pipe was used for drainage b4 PVC. Copper or galvanized pipe was for waterlines.
Did i just watch this whole entire video and i was waiting for what mistake you said you made, did i miss it, oh well bathroom looking gorgeous the outside i mean and the plumbing, great job jordan , are you going to cover all that up when completed? Looking forward to the next video guys.
Don;t feel bad. One time I went to cut a board and had the saw blade in backwards. lol
Actually, the true purpose of a vent is to prevent the p-trap from siphoning out when a lot of water flows thru. A siphoned out trap allows for sewer gas to enter the home (along with roaches from the sewer pipes) your vents should be attached on the same elevation of the trap, or as close to it as possible to give it air relief once water gets thru the trap. Connecting a vent below the bottom of the trap will still allow it to siphon out some. I suggest moving those wye fittings up the pipe to above the trap bottom. Use a tee instead of a Wye so it takes up less vertical space. In homes under construction, the trap is piped into the side of a tee on a vertical riser and the vent comes out the top of the tee.

The latest editions ha e seemed to have slowed down😢
The tough and grove looks great but like you said lots of work. Something to think about on future projects is doing board and batten. Still looks good but way easier to do, as you simply cover the gap between the boards with a smaller one. Plenty of photos on line. Maybe try it on a small project in the future. Great job on the plumbing. It wonderful to see how much joy Sadie brings into your life (and vise versa).
Land hunting and have a question. Did you guys do titled property or RoP?
Watching from Venice Italy! By the way, there is a tiny appreciation for coffee here too. Just spent an hour with the gentleman that owns this roastery. His shop is open 3.5 hours, 4 days a week. Be safe, be well.
